The Where Smiles Grow Pediatric Dentistry team is excited to announce that Dr. Taylor Shepard, DDS, has joined our team and is ready to serve patients in the greater Capital District area.  

Dr. Taylor attended Syracuse University, earning her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University at Buffalo. Her passion for pediatric dentistry is deeply rooted in the opportunity to make a lasting, positive impact on a child’s health, confidence, and overall well-being.

Inspired by her mother’s compassionate care for children—both in their family and the wider community—Dr. Taylor knew early on that she wanted to follow a similar path. Today, she brings that same dedication and kindness into her practice. She takes joy in tailoring care to each child’s unique needs, whether it’s helping a nervous patient feel comfortable, teaching healthy habits in fun and engaging ways, or building lasting trust with families.
