The Schenectady Pediatric Dentistry and Where Smiles Grow Pediatric Dentistry teams are excited to announce that Dr. Katherine Dority has joined our team and is serving patients in the greater Albany metro area.
Dr. Kat completed her undergraduate studies at Boston University before earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University at Buffalo, where she also completed her Residency Program/Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Kat’s interest in dentistry began in childhood, when she would “play dentist” with her neighborhood friends. This early passion stayed with her through college and came into clear focus during a college internship at a pediatric dental office. Her major in Health Sciences, with its foundation in public health, aligned naturally with the fun, preventive focus of pediatric dentistry, making her career path feel clear and purposeful.

Pediatric dentistry feels like a team sport to Dr. Kat, and she values being an active part of that collaboration.
